The book
What is a personalized travel book?
A personalized travel book is an activity book created for one child and one trip. Your child's name, photo and destination are woven into the pages: they discover the country before leaving, play and observe during the trip, and keep their memories in it afterwards. Mini Travel Book makes one for more than 20 destinations, for children aged 3 to 8.
What exactly is inside?
Each book follows the three moments of the trip:
- Before the trip: the destination, the people coming along, the places you will stay, from your own photos.
- During the trip: things to find, animals to spot, dishes to taste, flags to recognize, coloring and counting games.
- After the trip: pages for drawings, photos and memories, so the book becomes a souvenir of the whole trip.
The content adapts to the destination and to your choices during personalization. The cities featured in the book are the ones you select for your itinerary.
What are the book's specifications?
19 × 19 cm, softcover, 60 pages, made for little hands and travel bags. Every book is printed on demand after you personalize it.
What age is it suitable for?
Mini Travel Book is designed for children aged 3 to 8. Younger children enjoy it together with a parent; older ones complete many activities on their own. Activities include observation games, coloring, matching and counting.
Which destinations are available?
More than 20 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas... See all the books or the countries by continent page. There are also two special editions, for beach holidays and for the snow. If your destination is not available yet, contact us: it helps us decide which books to create next.
In which languages does the book exist?
In English, French or Spanish: you choose the language of the book during personalization.
Personalization
What can I personalize?
Your child's first name, their photo on the cover, a character chosen among ten appearances, the travel dates, the cities of your itinerary, photos of where you will stay, and the people traveling with your child. Everything is done online, in a few steps.
Do I need to upload photos?
Photos are optional: the book stays beautiful with only a few, or none. You can add a photo of your child, of the people joining the trip, and of your accommodation. For best results, use clear, bright pictures: portraits for people, landscape format for places.
Can I see the book before ordering?
Yes. The preview builds live while you personalize: you can flip through the complete book, page by page, before adding it to the cart.
Do I need to know my travel dates?
No. You can order without dates, and the book is just as complete. If you do enter dates, they appear in the book and a small calendar is added. Note that with a departure less than about two weeks away, the order tool blocks checkout, so that the book arrives in time: in that case, contact us first.
Should I order one book per child?
Yes, and we recommend it: each child gets their own name on the cover, their own photo or character, and their own pages to fill in. The book is also made for one trip and one destination; for a trip through several countries, families often order one book per country.
Ordering and delivery
How much does it cost?
Each book costs 25 €, or the equivalent in your currency, shipping included. The price is the same for every destination.
When should I order before my trip?
Order at least 2 to 3 weeks before departure. From order to delivery, count 3 weeks maximum: each book is printed individually after personalization. Ordering a little earlier gives your child time to discover the book before leaving, which is where the "before the trip" pages shine.
How long does delivery take?
Shipping is included, and most orders arrive within:
- Europe: around 5 to 10 business days
- United States and Canada: around 7 to 12 business days
- Other countries: around 10 to 15 business days
Printing time is already included in the 3 weeks maximum commitment.
How can I pay?
With the main payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and local options such as Bancontact, Bizum or Klarna, shown at checkout depending on your country.
How do I follow my order?
You receive a confirmation email after ordering, then a shipping email with tracking information as soon as the book is on its way.
After the order
Can I change my order after placing it?
Each book is printed individually shortly after your order. If you spot a mistake right after ordering, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best before printing starts.
What happens if there is a problem with my book?
If your book arrives damaged, or with a printing or personalization error, we replace it or refund you. Contact us within 7 days of delivery, with a photo of the problem: it is the fastest way to get it solved.
Can I return the book?
Each book is personalized and printed for one child, so it cannot be returned for a change of mind. If the book is damaged or incorrect, the replacement or refund above applies.
