Welcome to Mini Travel Book. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.minitravelbook.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of our products. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Mini Travel Book is operated by MINI TRAVEL BOOK, SOCIEDAD LIMITADA, Ronda Sant Pere, 52, 08010, Barcelona, Spain.

2. Access & Accounts

You must be the age of majority in your country of residence to use the Services and place orders. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

3. Our Products

Mini Travel Book creates personalized, print-on-demand travel books for children using the details and photos you provide. We aim for accurate product depictions, but minor variations (e.g., colour tones, cropping, paper finish) may occur between on-screen previews and final prints.

4. Personalization & Content Uploads

  • You are responsible for ensuring all information and photos are accurate, appropriate and free of third-party rights.

  • By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it solely to create, preview, print and fulfil your book and to provide customer support.

  • You confirm you have consent from the people shown in your photos, especially children, and the legal authority to use them.

  • We may refuse or cancel orders containing unlawful, offensive or infringing content.

  • You are responsible for reviewing the personalization details you submit before placing your order. Mini Travel Book is not responsible for errors in the personalization details provided by the customer, including spelling mistakes, incorrect names, dates, or other information submitted during the ordering process.

5. Orders & Contract

By placing an order, you acknowledge that your book is manufactured according to your individual specifications and expressly request that we begin production shortly after your purchase.

When you submit an order and payment, you make an offer to purchase. We will email an order confirmation. Production may begin shortly after your order has been confirmed. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled or modified except where required by applicable law.

We may reject or cancel an order, for example due to payment failure, inappropriate content or service unavailability. If this occurs, we will notify you and refund any amounts paid where applicable.

Your purchases are for personal/household use only and not for resale.

6. Prices, Taxes & Payment

Prices are shown in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Taxes, shipping and any import duties are shown at checkout when applicable. Promotions may have separate terms; if there is a conflict, the promotion terms apply. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing, payment and contact details so we can process your order and communicate with you.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Books are printed on demand and shipped to the delivery address you provide. Production typically takes 3–5 business days, followed by the estimated carrier delivery times shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, customs or events outside our control.

Risk & title (EU rule): If we arrange the carrier, risk passes to you upon delivery, meaning when you or a person indicated by you acquires physical possession of the goods. If you arrange a carrier not offered by us, risk passes when we hand the goods to that carrier.

For international shipments, any duties, taxes or import fees are your responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.

8. Returns & Refunds

Our books are made to your individual specifications and are clearly personalized. In accordance with Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU (as implemented in the applicable national laws), consumers cannot exercise the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for such personalized products.

Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or modified except where required by applicable law.

If your book arrives damaged, defective, or does not match your order, please contact us within 10 days of delivery and include photographs of the issue together with your order number. We will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or refund, in accordance with your statutory rights.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including designs, text, graphics, trademarks and other materials, are owned by Mini Travel Book or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or exploit any part of the Site or our products without prior written permission. This does not affect the limited licence you grant us for your uploaded content in Section 4.

10. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Uploaded photos and personalization data are used only to produce your book and are deleted within 60 days after delivery.

  • Order data, excluding photos, may be retained for up to 6 years to comply with Spanish accounting and tax law.

  • The Site is hosted on Shopify; see Section 15 and our Privacy Policy for details.

11. Feedback & Reviews

If you submit reviews, testimonials, ideas or suggestions (“Feedback”), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, display and share that Feedback for marketing, support and service-improvement purposes, for example on the Site or our social channels. This licence does not apply to your uploaded photos for book production, which are covered by Section 4. You confirm you have the rights to the Feedback and that it complies with these Terms and applicable law.

12. Optional Tools & Third-Party Links

We may provide access to third-party tools or links that we do not own or control. Such access is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Your use of these tools or websites is entirely at your own discretion and is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant third party. We are not responsible for the content, services, policies or practices of any third-party websites or tools.

13. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site or our Services to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;

  • infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person;

  • upload unlawful, offensive, defamatory or harmful content;

  • transmit malware, spam or other malicious code;

  • scrape, harvest or misuse personal data;

  • circumvent security measures or interfere with the operation of the Site; or

  • otherwise misuse the Site or Services.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or Services if these Terms are violated.

14. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist in drafting content or designing layouts.

Where AI tools are used, all AI-assisted content is reviewed and validated by our team before being included in your book, ensuring it meets our quality standards.

Your personal photographs are never used to train AI systems.

15. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify. Sales are made directly with Mini Travel Book. Shopify is not responsible for our products, sales or customer service.

Shopify may process personal data as necessary to host and operate our online store. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Shopify's Privacy Policy for further information.

16. Warranties & Liability

Our Services and products are provided with the degree of care required by applicable law. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free operation of the Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to mandatory law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable consumer law.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services if you materially breach these Terms or use the Services unlawfully.

Any provisions which by their nature should survive termination, including those relating to intellectual property, data protection, feedback, liability and governing law, shall continue to apply after termination.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Waiver & Entire Agreement

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

These Terms, together with any policies referred to herein (including our Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and Mini Travel Book regarding the use of the Site and Services, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

20. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

We may assign or transfer these Terms to an affiliate or as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of our business.

21. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you place your order will apply to that purchase. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes.

22. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights or jurisdiction that may apply under the laws of the consumer's country of residence.
