Welcome to Mini Travel Book. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [www.minitravelbook.com] (the “Site”) and your purchase of our products. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

2. Access & Accounts

You must be the age of majority in your country of residence to use the Services and place orders. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

3. Our Products

Mini Travel Book creates personalized, print-on-demand travel books for children using the details and photos you provide. We aim for accurate product depictions, but minor variations (e.g., colour tones, cropping, paper finish) may occur between on-screen previews and final prints.

4. Personalization & Content Uploads

  • You are responsible for ensuring all information and photos are accurate, appropriate and free of third-party rights.

  • By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it solely to create, preview, print and fulfil your book (and to provide customer support).

  • You confirm you have consent from the people shown in your photos (especially children) and the legal authority to use them.

  • We may refuse or cancel orders containing unlawful, offensive or infringing content.

5. Orders & Contract

When you submit an order and payment, you make an offer to purchase. We will email an order confirmation; your order is accepted when it enters production (usually within two hours). After that, changes/cancellations may not be possible. We may reject or cancel an order (e.g., payment failure, inappropriate content, service unavailability); in that case we will notify you and refund any amounts paid where applicable.

Your purchases are for personal/household use only and not for resale.

6. Prices, Taxes & Payment

Prices are shown in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Taxes, shipping and any import duties are shown at checkout when applicable. Promotions may have separate terms; if there is a conflict, the promotion terms apply. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing, payment and contact details so we can process your order and communicate with you.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Books are printed on demand and shipped to the delivery address you provide. Production typically takes ~5 days, followed by the estimated carrier times shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, customs or events outside our control.

Risk & title (EU rule): If we arrange the carrier, risk passes to you upon delivery (i.e., when you or a person indicated by you acquires physical possession). If you arrange a carrier not offered by us, risk passes when we hand the goods to that carrier.

For international shipments, any duties/taxes are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

8. Returns & Refunds

Because each book is bespoke, returns are generally not accepted unless there is a printing error, defect, or damage.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.

We may offer a reprint or refund at our discretion, in accordance with your statutory rights.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content (designs, text, graphics, trademarks, etc.) are owned by Mini Travel Book or licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or exploit any part of the Site or our products without prior written permission. This does notaffect the limited licence you grant us for your uploaded content in Section 4.

10. Data Protection

We process your personal data in line with our [Privacy Policy].

  • Uploaded photos & personalization data are used only to produce your book and are deleted within 60 days after delivery.

  • Order data (excluding photos) may be retained for up to 6 years to comply with Spanish accounting/tax law.

    The Site is hosted on Shopify; see Section 15 and our Privacy Policy for details.

11. Feedback & Reviews

If you submit reviews, testimonials, ideas or suggestions (“Feedback”), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licenceto use, host, display and share that Feedback for marketing, support and service-improvement purposes (e.g., on the Site or our social channels). This licence does not apply to your uploaded photos for book production (Section 4). You confirm you have the rights to the Feedback and that it complies with these Terms and applicable law.

12. Optional Tools & Third-Party Links

We may provide access to third-party tools or links we do not control. Access is provided “as is/as available.” Your use is at your discretion and subject to the third party’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites, tools, content or policies.

13. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site or Services to: break laws; infringe IP rights; upload illegal, offensive, defamatory or harmful content; transmit malware/spam; scrape or harvest personal data; bypass security; or otherwise interfere with the Site. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

14. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We may use AI tools to help draft content or design layouts. All AI-assisted content is reviewed by our team before inclusion. Your personal photos are never used to train AI systems.

15. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify. Sales are made directly with Mini Travel Book. Shopify is not responsible for our sales, products or customer service. Shopify may process personal data to host and operate the store; see our [Privacy Policy] and Shopify’s Privacy Policy for details.

16. Warranties & Liability

The Services and products are provided with the degree of care required by law, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (e.g., death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights).

Subject to mandatory law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit), except where such limitation is prohibited by consumer law.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms or use the Services unlawfully. Sections which by nature should survive (e.g., IP, Data Protection, Feedback, Liability, Governing Law) shall survive termination.

18. Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

19. Waiver & Entire Agreement

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with policies referenced here (e.g., Privacy Policy), form the entire agreement regarding the Services and supersede prior terms.

20. Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a restructuring or sale.

21. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the Site at the time of your order applies to that purchase. We will provide notice of material changes as required by law.

22. Governing Law & Disputes

Spanish law governs these Terms. Courts of Barcelona have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory protections under consumer law (e.g., you may bring claims in your local courts). EU consumers may also use the ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
